Wow, I like it. I've always wanted to see some pony country-balls anyway. Make it happen.

The only thing I'm afraid of is that it won't happen because of forced anonymity in rules. Basically, the country-balls would become one small way to identify users.

Well, the balls under my plan would be assigned by region instead of by country, so it would only decrease anonymity a very tiny bit. The level of anonymity would still be a lot more than on most /int/ boards where posters get a ball for their specific country.

Sure why not. With the post rate of /int/ I bet nobody will complain.

At this point, well over a year after your post, there are like three people—four people max—using /int/ regularly. Identification would still be a problem even with the icons distributed by region. Still, these icons are nice and it would be cool to see them used in some way. Maybe when the board gets more posters?

I'm a really optimistic person.
